Fordham Analysis Looks at Accountability for High Achievers

The Thomas B. Fordham Institute released an analysis of state accountability systems for high-achieving high school students under ESSA. The report concluded that only four states have “praiseworthy systems”, and an additional four are “moving in the right direction.” The group ranked each state on a four-star scale and offered new steps that education leaders can take to “ensure the needs of high achievers are prioritized under ESSA.”
