NASBE Webinar: Using Innovative Assessments to Promote Education Equity and Testing Efficiency

According to the National Association of State Boards of Education (NASBE), ESSA has “provided new opportunities for creating innovative assessments that fulfill accountability requirements while contributing to learning and teaching.” On August 7, at 3:00 PM ET, NASBE will host a webinar featuring Abby Javurek, the Senior Director of large-scale solutions at NWEA, who “will discuss how the organization has worked with states such as Georgia and Louisiana to develop assessment solutions that increase testing efficiency, provide students with equitable opportunities to show what they know and can do, and yield more instructionally useful data.” Click here to register.
