CCSSO and Parent Groups Identify How Parents Can Engage around ESSA

The Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) partnered with the National PTA and Learning Heroes to release two resources – Parent Engagement Guidelines and a Discussion Framework – for states to create stronger parental engagement under ESSA. The organizations identified “effective strategies” needed to “foster sustained, trusting relationships” among parents and education leaders.
