September 28, 2016
ESSA presents new opportunities to K-12 companies to help school districts “purchase more education technology and other instructional services,” reports EdWeek’s Market Brief. Governor Bob Wise, president of the Alliance for Excellent Education, said that the new law “permits us to move from a compliance mentality to an innovative one.” Schools will be looking to institute more tech-based services in the classroom and teachers will be able to “leverage new tools,” according to David DeSchryer, co-director of research at Whiteboard Advisors.
