MO Dept. of Ed Opens Public Comment Period

The Missouri Dept. of Elementary and Secondary Education has opened the public comment and review period on the state’s draft ESSA plan. Stakeholders will have until July 15 to submit feedback. Dr. Chris Neale, assistant commissioner in the Office of Quality Schools stated, “Our goals are making sure that all Missouri students are ready to succeed in school and in life, that excellent educators are leading our schools and classrooms, and that every school has the support it needs for continuous improvement.”
