TeachStrong developed guidance for states on how ESSA can be used to “modernize and elevate the teaching profession” though Title II funding. They lay out strategies that would “operationalize the nine TeachStrong principles” for states to propose “bold changes” to programs that are designed to support teachers. The guidance outlined examples for programs and activities, and identified applicable sections of ESSA.
