Maryland Parents Getting a New Kind of Report Card this Fall

WBAL Radio reports that Maryland parents will soon be able to find out how their children’s school ranks statewide, as well as what each school is doing to improve its performance. This change, which is “connected” to ESSA—will be implemented in the fall, and “show parents how schools are ranked based on a five-star system.”
