NV Teacher of the Year Emphasizes Importance of Community Input on ESSA Implementation

2016 Nevada Teacher of the Year John Tierney published an opinion piece on the importance of community input on the state’s ESSA implementation plan. Tierney called for Nevadans to go “all-in for the future of public education,” and to join him in his efforts to ensure that the students of Nevada are “an educated population prepared to take on the challenges which lie ahead of them.”
