ESSA Provides Michigan with Opportunity to Revamp Its School Rating System

The Mackinac Center for Public Policy posted a blog on the opportunities that Michigan has with ESSA to “revamp its school rating system” and “change how it’s reported to parents.” The group has been critical of the state’s current system, and hopes the new system will lead the state to “adopt a better metric of academic growth.”
