Granite State Leads Pack on Testing Approach

“For those wondering what a new testing opportunity created by the Every Student Succeeds Act might look like,” writes Politico’s Caitlin Emma, “consider the Granite State.” New Hampshire plans to apply for the program, which allows “up to seven states to experiment with new tests that break the traditional mold and try to drill down on whether students have truly mastered a subject.” The state is “arguably the most prepared” to make such a submission to Secretary DeVos.
