In Speech Secretary John King Discusses Potential Impacts of ESSA

Secretary John King gave a speech in Las Vegas last week where he discussed the impact of the proposed ESSA on students. King was quoted as saying “Music and art, world languages, physics, chemistry, and biology; social studies civics and geography, and government; physical education and health … these aren’t luxuries that are nice to have.
