Senate Confirms Brogan as Assistant Secretary at DOE

Alyson Klein reports for Education Week that the U.S. Senate voted recently to confirm the nomination of Frank Brogan as Assistant Secretary of Elementary and Secondary Education, taking over from Jason Botel, the Acting Assistant Secretary who “clashed with Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., over implementation of the Every Student Succeeds Act.”
