“I guess it’s good news that Missouri’s graduation rate in 2017 was nearly 90 percent—higher than the national average,” writes Susan Pendergrass, director of education policy at the Show-Me Institute, in the Columbia Daily Tribune. “But have we really put those students on the ‘path to achieve their goals in life’?
