State Leaders Discuss “Intractable Education Problems” at Hunt Institute Event

Education Week covered a post-election ESSA conference hosted by the Hunt Institute, noting that the event focused on “states’ intractable education problems.” Representative Sharon Tomiko Santos (D-WA) raised concern that states are “so narrowly focused on developing the ESSA” that they may “lose sight of the bigger picture.”
