Alaska Scores Leave “Plenty of Room for Improvement”

“Over 76,000 Alaska students took statewide math and English tests this spring,” reports Zoe Grueskin for KTOO Public Media. “The state Department of Education and Early Development shared the results last week. There’s plenty of room for improvement.” The “scores help the state determine which schools need the most support, in compliance with the federal Every Student Succeeds Act.”
